Section 14: Publication of declaration by Collector

Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Maharashtra) Rules, 2014.State Rules of Maharashtra · 2013

(1) The Collector shall issue 8 declaration under sub-section (1) of section 19. The Collector shall also issue such declaration alongwith the summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme. However, no such declaration shall be made unless the Requiring Body has deposited an amount in full towards the cost of acquisition of the land.

(2) Such declaration shall be published in the affected areas by way of affixing a written copy on the Board of village panchayat office and the office of the village revenue officer and urban local bodies.

(3) The date of last of such publications shall be the date of publication of declaration under sub-section (1) of section 19.
