When a Sansthan employee officiates in a post, the pay of which has been fixed at a rate personal to another Sansthan employee, the Committee may permit him to draw pay at any rate not exceeding the rate so fixed or, if the rate so fixed be a timescale, may grant him initial pay not exceeding the lower stage of that time-scale and future increments not exceeding those of the sanctioned scale.
