A member of the Governing Council or the Board, except the ex-officio member, may resign his office at any time by tendering his resignation in writing to the President of the Governing Council or the Chairperson of the Board, as the case may be, and such member shall be deemed to have vacated his office as soon as the President or the Chairperson, as the case may be, has received his resignation.
