Section 18: Member of Security Force deemed to be Special Police Officers.

The Maharashtra State Security Corporation Act, 2010.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 6 of 2010

(1) The members of the Security Force, so appointed under this Act, shall be deemed to be Special Police Officers within the meaning of section 21 of the Bombay Police Act, 1951 (Bom. XXII of 1951).

(2) Every member of the Security Force shall have power to use allotted weapons as may be required for the discharge of his duties.
