Notwithstanding anything contained in the Maharashtra Private Security Guards (Regulation of Employment and Welfare) Act, 1981 (Mah. LVIII of 1981) or in the Government Order, General Administration Department, No. MSM.1099/2390/C.R. No. 244/99/28, dated the 18 January 2002, no person shall be appointed by the Security Guards Board or the Maharashtra Ex-servicemen’s Corporation as a security guard without consultation with the Corporation.
