Section 17: Terms of members of Town Vending Committee

Maharashtra Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) (Maharashtra) Rules, 2016Central Rules · 2014

(1) The term of the members of the Town VendingCommittee, other than the ex-officio members, shall be five years from the date of first meeting of the Town Vending Committee held after the elections held as specified in these rules.

(2) The process of electing or nominating, as the case may be, of the members on the committee shall be completed before the expiry of their term.
