[88CC. Provisions of Act not to apply in relation to certain leases.- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, a person who does not belong to a Scheduled Tribe shall, after the commencement of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code and Tenancy Laws (Amendment) Act, 1974 (Mah. XXXV of 1974), not have the right to purchase under this Act the land duly leased to him with the previous sanction of the Collector under the provisions of section 36 or section 36A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 (Mah. XLI of 1966).]
