Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.
The Maharashtra Village Police Act, 1967.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 46 of 1967
(1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Village Police Act, 1967.
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra, but excluding Greater Bombay.
(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
