Section 2: Definitions

In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires,—

(a) “ Authority ” means the Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority established under sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority Act, 2005 (Mah. XVIII of 2005) ;

(6) “Government ” means the Government of Maharashtra ;

® (c) “ Member ” means the Member of the Authority and includes the shairperson.
