Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.

The Maharashtra Witness Protection and Security Act, 2017State Act of Maharashtra · Act 9 of 2018

(1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Witness Protection and Security Act, 2017.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
