The Manipur Children Act, 1978State Act of Manipur · Act 1 of 1979

(1) The State Government may estabiish and maintain as many Special schools as may be necessary for the reception of delinquen children under this Act. . ‘

(2) Every speciai/ school to which a delinquent child is sent under this Act shall provide the child With accemodation,maintenauce an facilities for education but also provide him with facilities for thy development of his character and abilities and give him necessar training for his reformation and shailaiso perform such other f1.1110tion§7 as may be prescribed. _ . - ‘

(3) The State Government may, by rules made under this Act:
