The Manipur Co-Operative Societies Act, 1976State Act of Manipur · Act 14 of 1976

(1) No society shall open a branch or a piece of businessoutside the State of Manipur end no co-operative society registered uponany law in any other State open a branch or a place of business in theState of Menipur without the permission of the RegiStrer;

(2) Every (foaoperative society registered under any law in anyother State, and permitted to open a branch or a piece of business in the Menipur State under the»- foregoing- subsection, 01' which has abranch or a place'of businese'v in the Manipur State at the commence-ment-of this Act shall, Within three months‘i'rom the opening of suchbranch or place of business or from the commencement of this Act as the case may be, file With the Registrar a certified copy of the bye-iaweand amendments and, if these are not written in English language, a certified translation thereof in English or Hindi and shall submit tothe Registrar such returns and information as are submitted by similarsocieties registered under this Act in addition to those which may be submited to the Registrar of the State where such society is registered.
