Section 2: Definitions. -— In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,

a) b) e) d) e) t) g) h) i) .i) “Act” means the Manipur Lokayukta Act,- 2014 (Manipur Act No. l 1 012014);

“Complaint” means a complaint made under section 14 ofthe Act;

“Complainant” means a person who makes a complaint under section 14 ofthe Act;

“Form” means the form appended to these Rules;

“Governor” means the Governor ofManipur;

“Member” means a member ofthe Search Committee;

“Rules” means the Manipur Lokayukta Rules, 2018;

“Search Committee” means the Search Committee referred to in sub-section (3} of section 4 ofthe Act;

“Selection Committee” means the Selection Committee specified in sub-sectien (1) of section 4 ofthe Act; and “State Government” means the Government ofthe State of Manipur.
