Section 2: Definitions

The Manipur Municipality Disclosure Act, 2008State Act of Manipur · Act 6 of 2008

In this Act unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context:- I

(a) “Assets” means all immovable assets vest in the municipalities;

(b) “Municipality” means an institution of self—govemment constituted under section 3(1) of the Manipur Municipalities Act, 1994 (No. 26 of 1994);

(0) “State Government” means the State Government of Manipur.
