2. In this Act, "principal Act" means the Manipur Secondary Education Act, 1972 (Manipur Act No. 7 of 1972). J. The word "heatnble'' which is the first marginal note on the principal Act, shall be omitted.
4. In section 3 of the principal Ac],
(1) after clause (e), the following clause shall be inserted, .namely r '.(ea) "Government" means the Government of Manipur';
(2) after clause (i), the following clause shall be inserted, namely i '(ia) · "Notification" means· notification· in the Manipur Gazette:' 1 and
(3) clause (p) shall be omitted.
5. In section 4 of the principal Act, in sub-section (2), after the words and the comma "Secondary Education," the word and the comma "Manipur," shall be inserted.
6. After section 4 of the principal Act, the following newsection 4A shall be inserted, namely : '•Vesting of pro perty and fund.
4A. Subject to any reservation that may be made by the State Government, all pro perty acquiredby or transferred to the Board and the fund thereof shall vest in the Board,"

(f) the . Secretary of the Board appoin ted under sub-section (]A) of section 12:, .

(4) Notwfthstandinganything containedin this section, the Board may co-opt not more than two members from among dis- - tinguished ?ducatfonists. " ·
8. In section 7 of the principal Act,
(1)- for the figures "i" and "Ii" the figures "1" and "2" ft!IPee- , tively shall be substitu(cd i -
