53. (l) TheSIate Government may, for the purpose o'fremovingany difichlfies, in the areas’and inthe matters covexed by thisOrdinance, by order-published in theOflSCial Gazétte:~ .
(i) - direct that this Oidinance shall during such period,as may be specified in the order take effect subjectto Such adaptations whether by way ofmodifications, addition or omission consistent Withthis Ordinance as it may deem fit to be necessary, or expedient, or i 1
(ii) give 'such directions as appear. to it to be necessary' for the removal of' such dificulfies that may arisein giving effect to the previsions ofthis Ordinance;
(111)4ima15ce. such other temporary provisions for, the '-‘ - " putpose df‘mmomg aanuchHifliculties as it may"deem fit to be necessary or expedient:
Provided that no such order shall be made after two yearsfrom the date ofthe commencementofthis Ordinance.
(2) All orders made under sub—section (1) shall be laid beforethe House ofthe State Legislature for fomteen days'which may becomprised in one session or in two successive sessions ,and ifbefore the expiry ofthe session in which they axe so laid or ofthesession immediately following, the House ofthe State Legislaturemakes any modification in any ofsuch Orders or resolves that anysuch order should not be made, such order shall thereafter haveeffect only in such modified form or be of no efi‘eot, as the casemay be, so however, that any such modification or annulmentshall ,be without prejudice to the validity ofanything previously ,donetheremder. ‘ a . ;

(3) If any question anses regarding the interpretation of any provision of this Ordinance or any Statutes or Ordinances or RegulatiOns made under this Ordinanee, or as to whether any person has been duly appointed as or is entitled to be a member of any authOrity or other body of the University, the matter may be referred to the Chancellor and shall be so referred if 'the Vice-Chancellor and-any ten, members of the Board so require The Chancellor' shall, after taking such advice fromthe State Government as he deems necessaiy, decide thequestion and his decision shall be final.
