Section 12: Meters

The Manipur Water Supply Act, 1992State Act of Manipur · Act 1 of 1993

(a) The preacrib.ed authority may install meter for the purpose of measuring and recording the quantity of water consumed in any premises or by an,y person at the cost of the consumer who will deposit the amount as fixed by the Oovernment, to the Public Health Engineering Department.

(b} 'l'he prescribed authority may fix a meter at a convenient point withill the l)IO_lllii;esof t?e consumer.
