Section 24: Appointment of Secretary and other officers and staff.

The Meghalaya Agricultural Produce Market Act,1980 (Act No.1 of 1981)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 1 of 1981

(1) Every market committee shall have a Secretary appointed by the Government subject to such terms and conditions as may be prescribed.

(2) A market committee may also, with the approval of the Board, employ such other officers and staff as may be necessary for the management of the market on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed.
