Section 32: Acquisition of land for the purpose of the Act.

The Meghalaya Agricultural Produce Market Act,1980 (Act No.1 of 1981)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 1 of 1981

(1) The State Government may, on the request of the board or a Market Committee, acquire land required for the purpose of this act under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Act I 1894).

(2) The Board Market Committee shall be deemed to be a local authority for the purpose of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Act I of 1894).
