Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Meghalaya Credit Operation and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1976 (Act 10 of 1976)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 10 of 1976

(1) This Act may be called the Meghalaya Credit Operation and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1976.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Meghalaya.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Gazette appoint in this behalf and different dates may be appointed for different areas of the State.
