If the specified officer is satisfied that the application is in order, he shall cause to be served on the agriculturist or his heir or legal representative, a written notice of demand in Form “B” calling upon him to pay the amount specified in the notice within fifteen days from the date of service thereof, or to show cause why the property charged be not distrained and sold.
