Section 11: General provision for punishment of offences

The Meghalaya Identification, Registration (Safety & Security) of Migrant Workers Act, 2020 (Act No. 14 of 2020)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 14 of 2020

Whoever contravenes any provisions of this Act or of any rule, regulation or notification made thereunder shall, if no penalty for the offence is provided then, the offence for the first time may be punishable with a fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, and for any second or subsequent offence with a fine which may extend to one thousand rupees.
