Section 15: Powers of the State to remove difficulties

(1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the State Government may, by order, make such provisions not inconsistent with provisions of this Act as may appear to be necessary for removing the difficulty:

Provided no order under this section shall be made by the State Government after a period of four years from the commencement of the Act;

(2) Every order made under this section shall be, as soon as may be after it is made be laid before the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.
