Section 6: Penalty

The Meghalaya Intoxicating Liquor (Prohibition of Publication of Advertisement) Act, 1976 (Act 14 of 1976)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 14 of 1976

Any person who contravenes the provisions of Section 3 shall, on conviction, be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both.
