Section 3: Establishment and incorporation of Board.

The Meghalaya Khadi and Village Industries Board Act,1980 (Act No.27 of 1980)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 27 of 1980

(1) With effect from such date as the Government may by notification fix in this behalf, there shall be established a Board to be called the Meghalaya Khadi and Village Industries.

(2) The Board shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property and to contract and may, by the said name, sue and be sued.
