Section 5: Vacancy.

The Meghalaya Khadi and Village Industries Board Act,1980 (Act No.27 of 1980)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 27 of 1980

(1) The Chairman, the Vice-Chairman, the Secretary or any other member of the Board may, at any time resign his office by submitting his resignation in writing to the State Government provided that the resignation shall not take effect until it is accepted.

(2) In the event of any vacancy in the office of a member of the Board by reason of death, resignation or removal such vacancy shall be filled up by appointment by the Government and the member appointed in such vacancy.
