Notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the time being in force, or in any custom or practice, the State Government may, by order published in the Official Gazette direct a survey to be made and conducted of any land, class or classes of land or area, as may be specified in the order, or that the boundaries of all land be demarcated and defined, or that records of all lands and estate so surveyed or to be surveyed, be prepared.
