Section 6: Entry upon lands.

After the expiry of the period of 15 days from the date of the proclamation made under Section5, the Director, Survey Officer, Revenue Enforcement Inspector or any other Officer duly authorised by the Director may, between the hours or sunrise and sunset, enter upon such lands, and do all things necessary for affecting the survey, demarcation of boundaries and preparation of the records whether any person mentioned in sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 5 attends or not :

Provided that where for any of the purposes of this Act it is necessary to enter upon any other land of which no proclamation has been made under Section 5, such enter shall only be made after a notice of the intention so to entry has been served by the Survey Officer or the Revenue Enforcement Inspector or any Officer authorised by him in this behalf upon the owner, holder or occupier of such land at least 24 hours previously.
