Section 15

The Meghalaya Private Medical Institution Including Institutes Under Private University (Regulation of Admission, Fixation of Fees and Rese…State Act of Meghalaya · Act 18 of 2025

(1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to any of the provisions of this Act, the State Government may, by an order published in the Official Gazette, make such provisions, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, as may appear to it to be necessary for removing the difficulty:

Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of a period of two years from the date of commencement of this Act.

(2) Every order made under sub section (1) shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before the State Legislature.

16. No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against the State Government or any officer or employee of the State Government or any other person or authority, authorized by the State Government for anything, which is done or intended to be done in good faith under this Act or the notification issued thereunder.
