Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Meghalaya Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 2018 (Act No. 8 of 2018)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 8 of 2018

(1) This Act may be called the Meghalaya Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 2018.

(2) It extends to the whole of Meghalaya.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of the Act.
