Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Meghalaya Repealing Act, 1973 (Act 14 of 1973)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 14 of 1973

(1) This Act may be called the Meghalaya Repealing Act, 1973.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Meghalaya.

(3) It shall be deemed to the have come into force on the 1st day of April, 1973.

2. The enactments specified in the Schedule are hereby repealed to the extent mentioned in the fourth column thereof.
