Section 30: Grant of Licence

(1) If, after considering any objections or suggestions, which may have been made in respect to the draft before the expiry of the period specified in sub-section (2) of section 29, the Licensing Authority is of the opinion that the application should be granted with or without modifications, or subject to any restrictions or conditions, it shall grant a licence accordingly.

(2) The Promoter can undertake all preparatory activities including tendering and onboarding of contractors but shall have to obtain a licence under this section before the commencement of construction.

(3) Every licence authorising the construction of a ropeway granted under subsection (1) shall, in such from as may be prescribed, be uploaded on the website of the State Government.
