Section 16: Cleanliness, ventilation and lightning

(1) The premises of every establishment shall be kept clean and free from affiviarising from any dria or privy or other nuisuance and shall be cleaned as such times and by such methods as may be prescribed.
(2) The premises of every establishment shall be ventilated and sufficiently lighted during all working hours, with such standards and by such method or methods as may be prescribed.
(3) If it appears to an Inspector that the premises of any establishment within his jurisdiction are not sufficiently kept clean or lighted or ventilated he may serve on the employer order in writing specifying the measures which in his opinion would be adopted and requiring him to be carried out before a specified date.
