Section 16: Annual general meeting,

(1) Every society shall hold an annual general meeting at least once in every year and not more than fifteen months shall elapse between two such successive meetings.

(2) The balance-sheet and the auditors report referred to in sub-section (2) of Section 15 shall be placed at the annual general meeting of the society.

(3) For contravention of any of the provisions of this Section every officer in default shall be punishable with fine which may extend to Rupees two hundred and fifty.
