Section 113: Officer and staff of the Director of Agricultural Marketing.

The Meghalaya State Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020 (Act No. 9 of 2020)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 9 of 2020

(1) The Director, to discharge such duties and perform such functions as assigned under this Act or Rules, may, with the previous sanction of the State Government, establish offices at district level.

(2) The district level offices should be headed by an officer, with such qualification and experience but not below the rank of Deputy Director or Under Secretary to Government of India.

(3) The other Officers at the district level may be posted with such qualification and experience as may be prescribed, from the States Agricultural Marketing Service cadre, if any, or otherwise or on deputation as per Rule.
