Section 131: Delegation of power by State Government.

The Meghalaya State Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020 (Act No. 9 of 2020)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 9 of 2020

(1) The State Government may delegate to the Board or any Officer of the State Government not below the rank of Director, any of the powers conferred on it by or under the Act other than the powers to make Rules under Section 136.

(2) The Officer so delegated under this section may subdelegate any of his powers to any Officer of the State Government not below the rank of Deputy Director in the State.
