Section 3: Establishment of a Council

The Meghalaya State Council for Technical Education Act, 1993, Act No.6 of 1993State Act of Meghalaya · Act 6 of 1993

(1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, establish with effect from the date to be specified in the notification Council for Technical Education to be called the Meghalaya State Council for Technical Education.

(2) The Council shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and shall by the said name sue and be sued.
