The Government may, at the request of the Board, with respect to any road, street, lane or open space for purpose of recreation made and developed under the housing Scheme, declare such road, street or lane to be a public road, street or lane or an open space for public recreation and transfer it for future improvement and maintenance to any agency of the Government or local authority.
