The Meghalaya State Housing Board Act, 1986, Act No. 7 of 1986.State Act of Meghalaya · Act 7 of 1986

(1) The "Chairman, the Vice Chairman " and every non-official member shall hold office for a period of two years from date of appointment but shall be eligible for re-appointment as such Chairman or Member.

(2) The " Chairman, the Vice Chairman " shall receive such remuneration and the nonofficial members such travelling allowances and daily allowances as may be prescribed.
