The University shall be self-financing and shall neither make a demand nor shall be entitled to any grant in-aid or any other financial assistance from the Central Government or State Government or any other body or corporation owned or controlled by the Central or State Government: Provided further that nothing in this section will prevent the University for creation of Endowments for research and development from PSUs owned by the Central Government and other Central Research Bodies.
