Section 206: Grant of certificate.

The Merchant Shipping Act, 2025Central Act · Act 24 of 2025

(1) The Central Government shall grant a certificate in respect of every ship which maintains insurance or other financial security, in such form, containing such particulars, subject to such conditions and on payment of such fee, as may be prescribed.

(2) Every certificate granted under sub-section (1) shall on expiry, be renewed in such manner and on payment of such fee as may be prescribed.
