Section 225: Appointment of nodal authority for marine incidents.

The Merchant Shipping Act, 2025Central Act · Act 24 of 2025

(1) The Central Government shall, by notification, appoint one or more nodal authorities who shall administer and supervise the marine incidents and the corresponding maritime emergency response.

(2) The nodal authority shall discharge its duties under the supervision and control of the Central Government.
