Section 263: Decision of question whether a vessel falls under this Part.

The Merchant Shipping Act, 2025Central Act · Act 24 of 2025

(1) If any question arises as to whether a vessel falls under this Part, it shall be decided by the Director-General and his decision thereon shall be final.

(2) Where the question under sub-section (1) relate to a fishing vessel, the decision shall be made in such manner as may be prescribed.
