Section 267: Training for grant of certificate of competency and certificate of proficiency.

The Merchant Shipping Act, 2025Central Act · Act 24 of 2025

(1) The Director-General shall administer, supervise and monitor all activities relating to training and assessment for the grant of certificate of competency or certificate of proficiency under this Part.

(2) The Director-General shall approve the training institute, training course and method of conduct of such training for the grant of certificate of competency or certificate of proficiency in accordance with such criteria as may be prescribed.
