Section 274: Power of Central Government to initiate action against non-mechanically propelled vessels.

Where it appears to the Central Government that any non-mechanically propelled vessel does not have valid certificates required under this Act, it may, after giving a reasonable opportunity of being heard to the owner, master or charterer, take appropriate action including suspension or cancellation of registration of such vessel under this Act.
