Section 301: Power of Director-General to give directions.

The Director-General may, if he is satisfied in the public interest or in the interest of Indian shipping that it is necessary so to do, give by notice, circular, order or guidelines in writing, such directions as he thinks fit to any vessel or seafarer or tindal or ship owner or his agent or maritime training institute or recruitment placement service provider or port or person or body of persons.
