Section 303: Right to pursue foreign vessels in high seas.

The Central Government, if it has a reason to believe that any foreign vessel has violated any law within the coastal waters, may authorise any vessel under its control to pursue into the high seas such foreign vessel for investigations and thereafter seize the vessel if considered necessary, for further proceedings:

Provided that as far as practicable, such foreign vessel shall be given a signal to stop before pursuing the vessel into the high seas.
