There shall be a Single Window Clearance Authority established for the purpose of providing one-stop clearance/ grant/ approval to new industrial and service sector investment applications and overall supervision and administration of speedy processing of investment applications and issue of various clearances. The Government shall appoint an officer of rank not below that of Joint Secretary to Government as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the SWCA.
