The Mizoram Street Vendor (Protection of Livelihood & Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2011State Act of Mizoram · Act 4 of 2012

awareness (a) develop and organize capacity building programmes for street vendors and on how to exercise the rights contemplated under this Act;

(b) undertake research, education and training programmes to advance knowledge and understanding of the role of the informal sector in the economy, in general and the street vendors, in particular and to raise awareness among the public through town vending committees.
