Section 11: Stages of Election

The Nagaland Medical Council Act, 2014State Act of Nagaland · Act 3 of 2014

(1) The returning Officer shall iix the following stages of election, namely:-

(a) Notification of elections;

@) Last date of receipt of nomination papers;

(c) Date of scrutiny of nominationpapers;

(d) Last date of withdrawal of candidate;

(e) Polling of votes;

(0 Counting of votes;

(2) The election process shall be completed by the Returning Officer within forty-five days from the date ofnotification of elections.
